The cold weather of late fall and the winter is barreling down on us and our homes. Now's the perfect time to make sure your heating and ventilation systems are squared away before it has to take on the brunt of the chilling winter.

While having air conditioning in the summer is nice and comforting, heating in the winter is imperative for the survival of you and your house. If your heating and ventilation system breaks down not only are you and your family at risk but also pipes and other heat-sensitive items that are throughout your house. A busted water pipe in your house can not only create damage but is very costly to repair. This will end up costing you more rather than just being proactive and making sure your furnace is ready to perform at its tip-top shape.

Being prepared for the winter is very important. People put snow tires on their vehicles, buy snow shovels and winter coats, but rarely do they think about the heater… until it breaks down.
